William Sims
William H. Sims, a partner of the firm, graduated Syracuse University in 1979 and Suffolk University Law School in 1983. Mr. Sims is an experienced trial attorney, having represented clients in all state and federal courts in Massachusetts. Mr. Sims began his career with the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office and then the Office of The Inspector General for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Mr. Sims entered private practice in 1983, concentrating in criminal defense and civil litigation.
While currently still maintaining an active trial practice, Mr. Sims concentrates his practice in the areas of residential and commercial real estate, municipal law, business law and probate and estate work. In addition to representing individual clients with varied legal issues, Mr. Sims also represents many corporations, businesses, banks and lending institutions as well as representing many professionals before the state licensing boards. He is also a Certified Commercial Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association.
Mr. Sims, a Plymouth resident is actively involved in charitable, civic and professional organizations both in Plymouth and Brockton. He is currently a board member of the Plymouth County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, The Real Estate Bar Association of Massachusetts (REBA), the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys and the American Trial Lawyers Association.
